In 1959 the island government of Curaçao gave the Scout Organization permit to use a piece of land at Ronde Klip. In the past 60 years the use of this land as a campsite had its ups and downs. The present buildings and facilities were constructed in the nineties and in 2014 some bath facilities were added.
