Dear Friends in Scouting,

A special edition of the Jamboree On The Internet (JOTI) is taking place from 3-5 April 2020 for Scouts, young people and communities from all over the world to connect together digitally in these very challenging times.

We are so encouraged to see many NSOs and NSAs actively engaging and encouraging their Scouts to continue to act in their communities using digital tools while staying safe at home. World Scouting is all about unity – this is why we are extending an invitation to you to be a part of this upcoming JOTI Special Edition!

The four main themes for the JOTI Special Edition are:

  • Health and Wellbeing Oasis

  • Humanitarian Hub

  • Youth Got Talent Stage

  • Digital Citizenship Den

To find out more about these themes, check out the preliminary programme content here.

NSO/NSAs are invited to host sessions during the JOTI Special Edition, and connect digitally with Scouts around the world to learn, build new skills, have fun and lift each other’s spirits. This can be through a class, performance, activity, game, campfire via webinar, or any other digital means.

If you are interested to host a session, please fill out this form before 27th March 2020. You will receive a confirmation and more technical information soon after the deadline.

If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to reach out to the JOTI Special Edition volunteer team by contacting Pauline Grangette at pauline.grangette@scout.org.

Once again, we thank you for your continued engagement and support for Scouting during these uncertain times. We sincerely look forward to working together to make this JOTI Special Edition a success!
